Honda has released more details on the upcoming Euro-spec 2012 Civic model and it touting the car's new diesel unit as a mark of its competitiveness.

The new i-DTEC engine is a 2.2 liter unit with an output of 150 PS (110 kW / 148 bhp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque with a very competitive CO2 emissions quotient of 110 g/km.
